About Emily Rose Wahrman

Emily Rose Wahrman graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication. She began her career in public information, specializing in speechwriting, media relations, and public communications before founding The Polished Society Project.

She believes traditional etiquette is far more than a collection of rules or table manners. Rooted in consideration for others, it provides a practical framework for fostering thoughtful communication, civility, confidence, and stronger human connection. By understanding how our words and actions affect those around us, we build healthier relationships and contribute to a more respectful society.

Through articles, educational videos, and speaking engagements, Emily teaches timeless etiquette with a modern perspective—preserving traditions that continue to serve us while making them approachable and relevant for everyday life. Her work encourages people to navigate social situations with greater confidence, communicate with intention, and extend consideration in ways that strengthen both personal relationships and the communities around them.

“Civility isn’t preserved by chance. It’s preserved by the choices we make every day.”

— Emily Rose Wahrman
